Mission Statement:
Our mission is to promote healthy development leading to future success. Guiding our teens and young adult parents by bestowing upon them the vital treasures needed. Guiding families to have accountability, positive communication, Integrity, Respect, and a lifelong focus on learning. while illuminating the path towards an environment of safety, responsiveness and boundless affection.
Guided Principles is a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in Louisa County Virginia serving Louisa, Fluvanna, Albemarle and Nelson County. We focus on offering gently used baby items, clothes, and diapers to young parents at no cost to them. Guided Principles also offer lactation education, infant and toddler education, and guided support to teens.
With many families struggling to cover daily expenses such as rent, food, utilities, and daily necessities. Guided Principles are hoping to help support young adult parents and teen parents with the daily essentials needed for their baby or babies. With diapers being such a huge need in many communities, our main priority is assisting young adult parents and teen parents with providing them with the diapers they need to make sure their babies can stay fresh and dry throughout the day and night. Guided Principles also focus on ensuring children are provided with gently used baby items and clothing.

While we offer much support with gently used items and baby diapers. Guided Principles offer teen parents and young parents the education needed when becoming a new parent. We assist in breastfeeding education, infant and toddler education, and guiding young, new and soon to be parents and our teens.

We are always willing to pick up donated items. We will also have scheduled times in different locations where donated items could be dropped off. We thank you for your help and giving back to our community!
